Counts from the live referential
Glasses fitted with corrective lenses fall under medical device rules, but the same frame worn on a job site becomes personal protective equipment: each product therefore has to be compliant twice, in every country where the brand sells.
Everything was tracked in per-zone lists maintained by hand, while standards kept changing reference, country by country and without warning. One outdated reference in a product sheet was enough to leave a container stuck at customs.
Cleo brought everything together in a single referential: 186 products, each carrying its two regulatory regimes, linked to 372 regulations across 32 markets.
Standards are dated and versioned there, which made it possible to spot and correct seven outdated references as early as setup, and every deadline now sits on a single calendar shared by the regulatory and ESG teams.
