What is the Skills Library?
A free, open-source collection of 45 product compliance skills
exposed through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Any compatible AI agent (Claude Code,
Cursor, ChatGPT desktop or your own) can call them to answer regulatory questions
on cosmetics, food, electronics, toys, textiles and supplements.
How do I install it?
One command:
npx -y @cleo-labs/skills-mcp@latest. Add it
to the config of your MCP client (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) and the 45 skills are
available right away.Is it really free?
Yes. MIT licence. Use it in commercial products, reuse it, change it. We maintain it because we use it ourselves at Cleo.
What is the difference with Cleo?
The skills give the “what”: the knowledge of the regulations,
frameworks and certifications. Cleo gives the “how”: your catalogue matched to the rules of 90 jurisdictions, tracked continuously, with audit evidence and team work.
Which MCP clients are supported?
Anything that speaks MCP over stdio. Tested with Claude Code, Claude Desktop,
Cursor and Continue. The server is a thin layer, so adapting it to a new client is
mainly a matter of configuration.
